Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: Yes! Insurance is included in the cost of your mission trip.

Q: Is Panama safe?
A: Like any country in the world there are parts of Panama that are unsafe for travelers. The areas of ministry where we work are as safe as it gets in Central America. We strongly believe in going where the Holy Spirit leads us to work and our relationships with local pastors and missionaries helps keep our groups as safe as possible.

Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes, your spot is reserved on the mission team when your non-refundable deposit has been received.

Q: Why is my deposit non-refundable?
A: We understand that sometimes things come up that result in a person not being able to attend the trip. However, we invest your deposit in arranging transportation, lodging, and translators for the week and once we pass it on it is not refundable to us.

Q: Is my deposit applied to the cost of my trip?
A: Yes, your deposit is received as your initial payment.

Q: Can I make payments on my trip?
A: Yes you can. In fact, we recommend it. After your deposit has been received we will put together a payment plan for your.

Q: When is my full payment due?
A: Unless other arrangements have been made, your trip must be paid in full two weeks before the trip begins.

Q: Do I need a passport?
A: Yes, you will need a valid passport for travel to Panama. Your passport should not expire for at least six months following your expected travel dates.
